Birthday cake protein bites

You will have a hard time stopping to eat these delicious & guilt-free birthday cake bites. They are made with maple syrup, vanilla protein powder, coconut flour, coconut oil, vanilla, oat flour and beautiful sparkles. These bites are perfect after or before a workout or as a snack. You can keep them in the freezer for up to 3 weeks. Enjoy!

8 bites

wet ingredients (maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract)

1 2/3 cup

dry ingredients (vanilla protein powder, oat flour, coconut flour)

3 tbsp

sparkles

2 tbsp

water

up to 2 tbsp

Preparation

Place ingredients in a bowl: In a bowl, place the dry ingredients and wet ingredients  (not the sparkles).

Combine: With a spoon, combine the ingredients. Add up to 2 tbsp of water in 1/2 tbsp increment. Combine well after each addition. The mix should be doughy – not too wet, but not crumbling.

Roll the bites: Roll bites of about 1 tbsp each using your hands.

Add sparkles: Place the sparkles in a small bowl, and press each ball in the sparkles to cover the top with sparkles

Enjoy: Keep the protein bites in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.
