Instructions
- In a pitcher, press the herbs and fruit (not citrus) (if applicable) with a muddler.
- Add the sliced citrus. Muddle lightly to let the citrus release some of it's essential oils.
- Top with cold water. You can adjust the amount of water based on how much flavour you'd like. Keep in the fridge.
Pasta al Lemone
Pasta Al Limone
Pasta al limone is a simple pasta dish made with: spaghetti, lemon (zest and juice), butter, cream, Parmesan, salt, and a generous amount of black pepper.
The origin of pasta al limone is disputed, but it is especially popular in southern Italy and Sicily, regions that are known for their lemons. We recommend serving this pasta with a light salad.

Ingredients
- 12 oz - 340 gr Spaghettie
- 1 Lemon
- 3/4 cup cream
- 6 tbsp butter
- Parmesan
- Black Pepper
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil with salt for the pasta.
- In a pot, add lemon zest (keep a little to garnish) and the cream. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cold butter 1 tbsp at a time. Whisking and fully incorporating each cube of butter before adding an other one. When the butter is all incorporated, turn off the burner.
- Cook the pasta following the instriuctions. Keep 3/4 cup of pasta water for the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta, lemon juice and black pepper to the sauce.
- In small aditions, add the Parmesan mixing well between each addition to melt the cheese.
- Serve and garnish with lemon zest. Serve with a light salad.
